Working with Elaine has been life changing!! We started working with Elaine when our little one was 5 months old and the only way we could get her to sleep was feeding to sleep, which some nights would take 2 hours at the beginning of the night and 2 hours overnight. Within a few days of implementing Elaine's methods, our little one learnt to self settle for both her daytime and bedtime naps and only wakes once for a feed overnight. She has gone from only having 40 minute daytime naps (mostly on mum) to consistently having 2 x 2 hour naps in the cot. Since the 4 month sleep regression my baby was waking anywhere between 4 and 10 times a night. I was absolutely exhausted and constantly just fed her back to sleep just to get myself a little bit more sleep. In the day times she would be very inconsistent and sometimes would go into her cot with no crying and sleep for 2 hours and other times would scream and sleep for 30 minutes. After 2 days of following Elaine’s routine, Myla has been doing all of her day naps with pretty much no crying at all, self soothes 99% of the time and has been only waking once for a night feed. My daughter, Stevie, has always been a terrible sleeper overnight, however, I have always put off getting a sleep consultant putting it down to teeth, leaps, too hot/cold, noise etc waking her plus I had done so much research, followed other sleep programs and thought I knew everything I needed to know for sleep training and accepted that we just had a little one who didn’t like to sleep! At 18 mo, in the middle of a rough night, I finally decided to book Elaine who had been highly recommended to me. Although Stevie’s sleep had improved and she would sleep through some nights, when she did happen to wake, it would take 2 hours sometimes of lying on the floor holding her hand through the cot back to sleep, sometimes multiple times a night. In addition to this, we would always have to hold her hand for 20-40 mins to get her to sleep at the start of the night, every night. After only 3 nights of following Elaine’s recommendations, we were able to put Stevie in the cot and walk out for her to settle herself to sleep. Bar one night which was a quick resettle, Stevie has slept right through the night every night since!! That was 5 weeks ago!!!! I am blown away to be honest….. that’s all I can say. I contacted Elaine to help with my 4 month olds catnapping and frequent night wakings. He only ever napped for 30-40 minutes at a time and was waking up to 10+ times at night. He relied on his dummy and or rocking, patting, swaying to get to sleep. I also have a toddler and was beginning to find juggling the two of their needs extremely difficult. I wasn’t able to spend hours on end settling and resettling my baby and tend to my toddlers needs as well.
