My daughter, Stevie, has always been a terrible sleeper overnight, however, I have always put off getting a sleep consultant putting it down to teeth, leaps, too hot/cold, noise etc waking her plus I had done so much research, followed other sleep programs and thought I knew everything I needed to know for sleep training and accepted that we just had a little one who didn’t like to sleep! At 18 mo, in the middle of a rough night, I finally decided to book Elaine who had been highly recommended to me. Although Stevie’s sleep had improved and she would sleep through some nights, when she did happen to wake, it would take 2 hours sometimes of lying on the floor holding her hand through the cot back to sleep, sometimes multiple times a night.
