Since the 4 month sleep regression my baby was waking anywhere between 4 and 10 times a night. I was absolutely exhausted and constantly just fed her back to sleep just to get myself a little bit more sleep. In the day times she would be very inconsistent and sometimes would go into her cot with no crying and sleep for 2 hours and other times would scream and sleep for 30 minutes. My daughter, Stevie, has always been a terrible sleeper overnight, however, I have always put off getting a sleep consultant putting it down to teeth, leaps, too hot/cold, noise etc waking her plus I had done so much research, followed other sleep programs and thought I knew everything I needed to know for sleep training and accepted that we just had a little one who didn’t like to sleep! At 18 mo, in the middle of a rough night, I finally decided to book Elaine who had been highly recommended to me. Although Stevie’s sleep had improved and she would sleep through some nights, when she did happen to wake, it would take 2 hours sometimes of lying on the floor holding her hand through the cot back to sleep, sometimes multiple times a night. In addition to this, we would always have to hold her hand for 20-40 mins to get her to sleep at the start of the night, every night. After only 3 nights of following Elaine’s recommendations, we were able to put Stevie in the cot and walk out for her to settle herself to sleep. Bar one night which was a quick resettle, Stevie has slept right through the night every night since!! That was 5 weeks ago!!!! I am blown away to be honest….. that’s all I can say. Best investment we made for our family and cannot recommend Elaine more highly. Don’t put it off and book Elaine in!!
